Please follow the steps below. After each step, check whether a connection can be established. If not, proceed to the next step:
1. Check your smartphone and connections
- Check Bluetooth connections in your smartphone settings. If a device with the name “NB000…” is displayed, remove the device by selecting “Ignore device.”
- Turn Bluetooth off and then on again in your smartphone settings.
- Restart your smartphone.
- Check the software version of your smartphone. If available, install the latest software version, as Bluetooth problems are usually resolved by updates. iPhones must have at least iOS version 18.6.2.
- Check app permissions. Ensure that all permissions for the My NiBi app are granted to access Bluetooth and location services (“When using the app”).
2. Check SCU and connections
- Check that all antenna connection plugs are correctly seated and plugged into the SCU.
- Check whether the plugs are arranged in the same color sequence as shown in the illustration.
- Restart the SCU by pressing and holding the pairing button on the SCU for ten seconds. After 30 seconds, restart the SCU by pressing the button again. Alternatively, remove fuse 15 from the relay box and reinsert it after 30 seconds. It can take up to two minutes for the SCU to start up; a connection can only be established once it has successfully started up.
3. Check various factors
- Try SCU connection via mobile data, disable Wi-Fi connections.
- Check whether the vehicle serial number and the SCU serial number on the printout with the QR code match.
- If there is an actively connected Apple Watch, remove it.
- If a VPN is enabled, please disable it.
- Check whether a main user is already stored. Without a main user, guest accounts cannot be set up. Each guest requires their own user account.
- Do the smartphone and SCU have a stable internet connection? This may be limited in a garage/hall/workshop, for example.
4. Reconnect vehicle
- Use the My NiBi app to rescan the QR code and re-register the vehicle.
If the above steps do not solve the problem, please contact your dealer with a detailed description of the problem.
